Water SCADA & Telemetry

The CiQ.300/400 series of products are specifically designed for water operators of all sizes, including rural water, municipality, agricultural, and large commercial operators. The CiQ.300 telemetry hardware has a wide range of options to meet any budget. It is designed to work independently or fully integrate existing supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.

Water SCADA and telemetry are meant to make your water operations run more efficiently, and they happen to be our specialty at Rugged Telemetry. The following is a rundown of the different solutions we offer in the CiQ.300/400 series of products to help your water operations stay on track. CiQ.300

The 300 series is our tank-level monitor/controller compatible with PRV or booster systems. This series is an excellent solution for simpler water SCADA and telemetry operations requiring immediate convenience.

Specifications

The CiQ.300 comes with a 14 x 12 x 6 polycarbonate enclosure that provides durability. Its communication system can be a satellite or a hybrid between LTE and satellite.

The nominal input voltage of the 300 series' power is AC 100 (240 V). The input voltage range of the CiQ.300 is AAC 90, 264 V (DC 125:375 V). The nominal mains frequency range is 47, 63 Hz (0 Hz).

The CiQ.300 contains a 3.5-inch PLC HMI and one tank. Additionally, it includes two analog sensor inputs, six digital inputs, and eight digital outputs.

CiQ.310/315

The 310 and 315 are both designed to control water flow stations. The 310 is for PRV stations, and the 315 is designed for booster stations. They both have optional exterior switches for control. While both are fantastic solutions, these two models have subtle differences that could impact your water operations.

Specifications

Two polycarbonate enclosures go along with the CiQ.310 and CiQ315 for protection. The two dimensions available are 16 x 14 x 7, and the other enclosure available has dimensions of 14 x 12 x 6. The former model is also known as the switch model.

The CiQ.310 and CiQ.315 include communication options for satellite and hybrid (LTE and satellite).

The CiQ.310 and CiQ.315 series include an input voltage of AC 100 (240 V). The input voltage ranges are AC 90, 264 V (DC 125:375 V), and the nominal mains frequency ranges are 47, 63 Hz (0 Hz).

This series is configured with 3.5-inch HMI PLC, two pumps and valves, two flow meters; 1 suction pressure; 1 discharge pressure, and 2 run status.

The 310 and 315 also come with six analog inputs, two analog outputs and 14 digital inputs, and 12 digital outputs.

CiQ.400

The 400 has the same functionality as the 300 tank series but with an enhanced touch screen UI — ideal for tank sites with AC power. Consider this solution for water SCADA and telemetry systems that need a powerful and easy-to-use interface.

Specifications

The CiQ.400 comes with a polycarbonate enclosure with dimensions of 14 x 12 x 6. The series' communication is compatible with satellite or hybrid configurations.

The CiQ.400 series has an input voltage of AC 100 (240 V), an input voltage range of AC 90, 264 V (DC 125:375 V), and a nominal mains frequency range of 47, 63 Hz (0 Hz).The CiQ.400 includes a 5-inch touch screen PLC and a tank.

The series products also have two analog in sensor inputs, ten digital inputs, eight digital relay outputs, and two digital NPNs.

CiQ.420

The 420 is configured for a pump or PRV with enhanced controls over the 300 series for powerful water SCADA and telemetry operations. The enhanced rules are DNO (Do Not Operate) settings for counties with power restrictions during specific hours. It can also cycle lead and lag pumps to get the equal operating time and enhanced controls for VFD with multiple operating modes.

Specifications

The CiQ.420 model comes equipped with a protective polycarbonate enclosure that measures 14 x 12 x 6. This series is compatible with satellite and hybrid (LTE & Satellite) communication systems.

The CiQ.420 series has an input voltage of AC 100 (240 V) and an input voltage range of AC 90, 264 V (DC 125:375 V). In addition, this series has a nominal mains frequency range of 47, 63 Hz (0 Hz).

The CiQ.420 has several helpful features: a 5-inch touch screen PLC, two pumps and valves, two flow meters, 1 suction pressure, 1 discharge pressure, and 2 run status.

Rugged Telemetry's 420 series includes four analog sensor inputs, four analog outputs, eight digital inputs, and eight digital outputs.

Series

Description

CiQ.300

The 300 series is our tank level monitor / controller that is compatible with any of the PRV or Booster systems.

CiQ.310/315

CiQ.400

The 400 has all the same functionality as the 300 tank series but with an enhanced touch screen UI. Ideal for tank sites that have AC power.

CiQ.420

The 420 can be configured for a Pump or PRV with enhanced controls over the 300 series.  The enhanced controls are DNO settings (Do not Operate) for counties that have power restrictions during certain ours. It also has the ability to cycle lead and lag pumps, so they get equal operating time along with enhanced controls for VFD that have multiple operating modes.
